O.B.A. Playdowns C.N.E. Tournament On Saturday, Peterborough defeated Pickering 7-0 to take the best of three series 2-0. Geoff Davidson pitched a two-hit complete game shutout to earn the victory for the Tigers. Davidson also contributed offensively, cracking his fifth homer of the season. The Tigers will now face the winner of the Whitby/Ajax series to determine who will advance to the Provincial Championship Tournament on Labour Day weekend.
